SELF STORAGE ADVICE
1. Really consider whether your belongings are worth storing.
2. Dismantle as much of the furniture as you can.
3. Fridges and Freezers should be fully defrosted, clean and left with the door ajar.
4. Heavy items should be packed in smaller boxes.
5. Clothes are remarkably heavy so do not use huge boxes for these.
6. Remove all batteries from electrical items.
7. If your wardrobes or chests of drawers do not dismantle, pack them once they are in place in the unit (use the space).
8. Think about whether you need the items from time to time – put those near the door.
Our storage units are heated and humidity controlled, they have covers over the top of the units to prevent dust so your wooden furniture should not be subjected to any temperature of humidity variation. Papers, photographs should not perish under these conditions . We always welcome customer feedback and reviews.
